Safety & Performance Standards
At NxAERO, safety is the top priority. Our clients demand it; our reputation rests on it! As a licensed air carrier (Cert# SO5A204N) our company's operating procedures are closely reviewed by the FAA to ensure they are in compliance with regulations. Additionally, the FAA periodically audits our activities to confirm that we are adhering to these approved operating procedures. But we don't stop there.
Although not required by FAA regulation, NxAERO - as company policy - uses a trained two-pilot crew for every client flight. Some operators routinely use a single pilot unless specifically requested otherwise by a customer.
Our pilots undergo regular recurrent training in the actual aircraft they fly, as well as in flight simulators. They are required to regularly demonstrate proficiency - our Captains every six months and our First Officers annually. Each of our pilots is fully capable of handling the aircraft solely. Nevertheless, they train as a crew; each knowing their role in sharing the cockpit workload. Should something go wrong, they can backup and cross check one another to ensure a safe outcome.
On occasion, we may from time to time select other certified operators to fulfill our clients' travel needs. In these instances, we use only certificated charter operators who hold the same safety values as we do, demonstrated by their actions. As an aid in ensuring we select reputable charter operators, NxAERO utilizes the business aviation safety experts Aviation Research Group/US (ARG/US) www.aviationresearch.com and Wyvern Consulting, LTD. www.wyvernltd.com as resources in selecting only the finest. Any air charter operator we select on behalf of our clients must have an established safety track record with one or both of these organizations for our consideration and recommendation to you.
